Modern day Romeo and Juliet

Today, 2 lovers were caught near our borders with Evenia. As all Targians know, procreating is only allowed with other Targians to ensure pure bloodlines among our strong men. That’s why 50 years ago, a law was implemented stating that it is strictly forbidden to have romantic relations with people from other countries. Punishments for breaking this law go as far as the death penalty. This law was very important to our great leader, Tate. He did everything in his power to ensure the future and the power of our people. That’s why he expects the same effort from all of us Targians.

Yesterday a soldier was guarding the borders near Evenia. When he heard some strange noises coming from the forest, he decided to go and check in on it. He found the two lovers kissing. Looking at the lady, he immediately saw that she was not wearing our traditional clothing. Upon checking their passports, he discovered the woman was an inhabitant of Evenia. The two were arrested and put into custody immediately. The Woman confessed that they had been in a relationship for half a year now, and had been meeting secretly in the forest every week on Wednesday. The man decided to plead the fifth. He didn’t say a word. Further investigation will be executed.

For now, the woman in question was sent back to Evenia. If necessary, she will be brought back for questioning. The man on the other hand has been put into custody and is facing some serious charges. During a trial, our Alpha males will decide which punishment he will get. The trial will be open for all male Targians. This trial will serve as a warning to anyone doubting to break the law in the future. May you all see the light!
